How To Cutout Image As Text In Photoshop By Photoshop Tutorial For Beginners. In this Photoshop tutorials I am going to show you that how to cut out image or get text from image in Photoshop. Now lets see the step by step easy screenshot with detailed instruction. Open the image in Photoshop. Select Horizontal Type Tool and type the text and positioned it where you will cut the image with text. See screenshot below.

Select move tool then right click mouse on type layer then select Rasterize Type. See screenshot below.

From edit menu click on Free Transform then transform the text to make it larger. See screenshot below. 

Select magic wand tool then select the text by clicking one by one character. See screenshot. 

After selecting text click the type layer on layer palette and drag to below at delete layer or recycle bin icon. Select move tool then from the menu edit then click on copy then click on paste. 

Hide all background layer by selecting eye icon at layer palette. Then select second layer and click on create new layer from below at layer palette. The from edit menu fill with white.

Select Upper layer then add layer style from layer palette. Add drop shadow and bevel and emboss effect. 

From file menu save as JPEG format.
