Photoshop Tutorial For Beginners How To Create Transparent Text Effects In Photoshop. In this Photoshop tutorials I am going to show you that how to make transparent text effect in Photoshop or how to do text design in Photoshop. By following this Photoshop tutorials you also would learn how to use Photoshop. Now lets see easy step by step screenshot with detailed instruction. You could understand better.Open the image in Photoshop. Select Horizontal Type Tool then type the text on image with the size of 60 pt. Then select move tool and move the text to appropriate position. See the screenshot below.

After placing the text in appropriate position then change layer blending mode to Overlay.

Reduce layer opacity to 90 percent from layer palette. 

After that give a layer style drop shadow from layer palette. See the below screenshot for details.

Select magic wand tool and select the text by clicking one by one word. See the screenshot.

After selecting the text from the menu Select then click on Inverse select. Then from the edit menu fill with white.

After filling with white change the layer opacity to 39 percent from layer palette menu at right side bar.

From the Select menu click on Deselect. Then select Rectangular Marquee Tool and Select the small area around the text. Then From the menu Select and click on Inverse Select. Then from the menu Edit then click on Clear. See the screenshot below.

Again select the smaller area and clear more are. From the menu Layer select Flatten Image. 

From file menu save as JPEG format.
